Parle moi d'ailes - Par monts et par creux - Manu Grimo

Through an original tale inspired by our region, this storyteller will present us with a contemporary legend.

To bring this 2026–2027 exploration to a fitting close, the Cultural Season is heading to Mézangers for a final festive evening centred on storytelling and music.

Following his residency in Mayenne from 12 to 22 May, this storyteller – enriched by the encounters and shared experiences throughout his stay – will unveil the fruits of his time in Coëvron.

Trained at the Angers Conservatoire, Manu Grimo initially worked with several theatre companies before founding his own, La Compagnie des Arbres, in 2003.
With “Parle moi d’ailes”, he travels the region as a ‘travelling storyteller’, guided by a love of discovery, encounters and shared experiences. From schools to libraries, via farms and local homes, he weaves a route where each stop becomes an opportunity to tell stories and forge connections.
In the Coëvrons, his journey will no doubt lead him to explore the hills and valleys of the region. From the heights of Mont Rochard, Montaigu or the Bois du Tay to landscapes shaped by human activity, such as the quarries at Voutré and Neau or the old lime kilns, he will draw on the memories of these places to enrich his tales.
Every evening, he will host a storytelling session, held in a local’s home or at the library. You are sure to have the chance to meet him as he travels through the area.

Part of the cultural season. Suitable for all ages, free of charge.
