Projet SOUNDMARK : visite sonore du quartier des Sablons
Discover a working-class district of Le Mans through an innovative audio tour led by students from the Heritage and Local Development Master's programme at the University of Le Mans and the SOUNDMARK collective.
Discover the Sablons district through an innovative audio tour proposed by students from the Heritage and Local Development Master's programme at the University of Le Mans and the SOUNDMARK collective. From October 2025 to January 2026, 13 students worked in the heart of the Sablons district to come up with an original sound tour to be presented at the Le Mans Sonore 2026 biennial event.
Come and discover an innovative heritage tour, based on the development of the artistic project and the artistic collective, led by 4 artists:
- Denis Muzet (sound artist)
- Madlen Herrström (visual artist)
- Selma Muzet - Herrström (textile artist)
- Victor Muzet - Herrström (digital artist)
The tour will be developed using Aous Karoui's Roadmaker interactive solution, made available by Le Mans Métropole.
It will be open to the public from 17 to 25 January, as well as on 17 and 24 January for guided tours led by Le Mans' heritage mediators.
The Soundmark project also includes an exhibition at the Espal from 6 January to 14 February.
