Animation RDV Nature Durtal 19.07  - alexas_fotos-ivy

A nature outing in Anjou: a discovery walk exploring ivy in Durtal

Organised by Durtal Town Council and Eco Formation, with the support of the Department

What if you were to take a fresh look at a plant you think you know?
Often mistakenly regarded as an invasive plant, ivy nevertheless harbours many treasures… Did you know that it supports biodiversity, protects the soil and has some surprising uses? Come and discover this fascinating plant on a unique nature walk, combining stories, botanical discoveries and creativity!

The exploration will continue with two hands-on, friendly workshops:
- a weaving workshop to give ivy fibres a new lease of life;
- a workshop on making natural cosmetics using ivy to explore its lesser-known uses.
