Réduire la dette publique de la France

Since 1975, successive French governments have systematically spent more than they had available, even outside periods of crisis: as a result, the country's debt has continued to grow, and with it the spending constraints associated with interest payments. What scope is there for future governments to increase the proportion of spending they choose?
Talk given by François Langot, lecturer and researcher in economics and deputy director of the Institut du Risque et de l'Assurance.
As part of the Printemps de l'esprit critique programme.
