Restaurations dans les églises: La descente de croix

The town of Le Mans has entrusted Fanny Chauvet, curator-restorer of paintings, with the restoration of a listed painting.
This Descent from the Cross is a copy of a painting by Charles Le Brun on display at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Rennes.
The work has made it possible to preserve a painting that had been weakened by time, and to rediscover the copyist's signature.
These lectures will provide an insight into Fanny Chauvet's career and the major stages in her work.
