What if the listening environment transformed sound?
That's the question posed by artist Leandro Barzabal in his installation and performance "Désintégration: Mort d'un Acouspauvrium". Here, the loudspeakers rest on supports made from poor materials - cement, scrap wood, cardboard, wax - which degrade, interfere with and metamorphose the sound, giving it character. These fragile devices, created on site just a few days before the performance, introduce an element of unpredictability: the loudspeakers vibrate, move, crack and destroy themselves, constantly changing the soundscape.
The Aucouspauvrium, freely inspired by François Bayle's Acousmonium, is a diffusion/performance system that resists and modifies the character of sound while making the sound source visible.

Throughout the day, take part in a workshop on this device, followed by a performance by Leandro Barzabal.
Venue: Cellule in the Les Jacobins shopping centre - ground floor next to the FNAC
