Louise a le choix", by Cie Syrinx, at the Petit Théâtre on Friday 9 January 2026

Louise and her sidekick Inocybe break onto a theatre stage and take over the space, holding the audience hostage for the duration of their ramblings.
In this space of terrible freedom where anything is possible, they panic. They end up making choices that lead them to reinvent absolute monarchy, then public democracy, each time ending in a political and ecological fiasco where everyone's freedom is trampled underfoot.
The play plays with humour, tracing a political history that brilliantly serves up the ecological question on a platter.
There will be an on-stage discussion with the artists at the end of the show.
