Éric Boucher’s Art Glass Workshop in Durtal is opening its doors to the public for a special event!

Step into a world where glass is transformed into colour, light and unique works of art. Here, every movement is precise, every piece of glass has its place, and every creation reveals a little of the craftsman’s talent.

As you explore, discover the secrets of the master glassmaker’s craft: cutting glass, assembling pieces, lead-sealing… Take a closer look at the tools, gain an insight into the different stages of production and see how traditional craftsmanship can give rise to resolutely contemporary creations.

It’s also an opportunity to meet the artisan, chat with him and go behind the scenes to see the restoration of antique stained-glass windows – some of which are over a century old – as well as his original creations inspired by his surroundings and artistic collaborations.
