Visite guidée de Segré

Visite guidée - Segré - FMA - 49 - ©OTAB

A guided tour of Segré will be offered on Thursday 2 July 2026 and Saturday 29 August at 2.30pm.

The town of Segré boasts over 1,000 years of history. It saw battle during the Hundred Years' War, the Wars of Religion and the Chouannerie. But it was above all in the 19th and 20th centuries that Segré experienced a tremendous boom thanks to its industries, its railway station, its river trade and its sub-prefecture.
Discover the history of this small medieval town, which became the capital of Haut-Anjou, through its urban heritage.
